Canva gives me the ick. I hope they don't ruin Affinity. If they do, I'll go back to Adobe so fast......

I've used Adobe PS since 3.0 in the 90's, but fell away from design. With Cavna I've enjoyed making ads and brochures right on my phone. Now have it on my tablet and desktop and love how easily I can use it anywhere. Looking forward to how they grow with new features and acquired IP.

Sigh. Time to start looking for an alternative to my alternative

I like Canva and am using it more and more but this presentation was embarrassing to say the least. The 'Glow up'... what on earth was that all about?? A neon key in a lock which lead us through a glowing tunnel to... more of the same Canva with just a few tweaks!? One thing they certainly got right was when they said, they wanted to make visual communication something 'anyone' can do because the people behind this presentation certainly qualify as 'anyone'. A team without much skill who could and should have gone the extra mile and employed a real creative design team to create their presentation. Cringe.

i can't do it, canva didn't show the option for other slides in the same presentation. i can do it back then but i don't know maybe because its a new update

Tell me a single mega corporation that is not a vile skunk. Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Broadcomm, Oracle... so on and on. Did Canva became a Mega corp from being big, after affinity acquisition? There's a reason small developers are always loved for - passion There's a reason mega corporations are always hated for - profit maximization for the stakeholders, not the customers

Please don't make Affinity a subscription, or at least keep the one-time purchase version. You could lose all that you gained by people leaving Adobe if you do that.

Affinity is an amazing software, switched in 2020.

Affinity is great BUT it's still hard to flip things with control, and vector brushes are actually raster. Basic stuff needs to get addressed asap

I’m trying to resize, change aspect ratio, of a graphic using advanced feature inside position tab. I input the smaller size and graphic remains the same size and only the purple box, shrinks. How do I change the aspect ratio of the graphic?

I BOUGHT Affinity. I will NOT, repeat NOT! Rent Affinity. I left Adobe because they were like a bad landlord screwing a renter. I will not go through that again.
